Arsenal were seeded for today's draw in Nyon, and will face a two-legged fixture over Aug16/17 and 23/24, which is sandwiched between some tough Premier League games against Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester United. Even though Arsenal were one of the seeds for today's draw, there was no fixture weighting, meaning the Gunners will play the first leg at Emirates Stadium. Wenger, though, must serve a one-match touchline ban following Uefa disciplinary action in the wake of last season's second-round exit to Barcelona in the Nou Camp, after being charged with "inappropriate language" directed towards referee official Massimo Busacca. The Swiss official had controversially shown Robin van Persie a second yellow card for shooting at goal just one second after he had blown the whistle for offside - the Dutch striker claimed he had not heard it due to the noise of the 95,000-plus crowd.  TBT - Roslyn made the national news on Monday night as one of its natives, only known as "JP" was chosen by a young lady, Ashley, as the desire of her affections on the ABC series, The Bachelorette.The big decision was made in front of millions of viewers on the primetime viewing of the popular series. JP was in competition with Ben, a California native, but the 33-year-old construction manager, who is a graduate of Herricks High School, came away as the winner. At the end of the two-hour season finale, JP got on his knees, offered Ashley the ring, and received an affirmative answer as the program closed with the expected fairy tale ending. The decision culminated a seven-episode adventure in which the Bachelorette was courted by eligible bachelors in a variety of exotic locations: Fiji, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Thailand. The young woman also traveled to the hometowns — including Roslyn — of the four remaining bachelors to meet with the parents of the young men still in the running. In Roslyn, JP and Ashley went on dates to the roller rink and a local disco. As with other contestants, JP, prior to the dating season, listed his interests. He told ABC that his three worst attributes were being stubborn, "frustrated too easily when things don't go my way," and a lack of patience. JP also listed the Fourth of July as his favorite holiday and admitted he was a reluctant dancer. He also said that the best trip he had ever been on was a two-month trip to Australia. "I just picked up and left, on my own, and bounced around the east coast of Australia. Time of my life." At Herricks High School, JP played lacrosse. Anticipating his future success, he was also named "best looking" in the Class of 1995. All this and the time spent with Ashley was more than enough as out of 25 men, JP made television history. There are seven books, seven days and seven chances to register early this week for J.K. Rowling's interactive Pottermore website. Each day corresponds with one of the books in sequential order. Thursday, Day 5 will have a clue from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix; Friday, Day 6's clue will be aboutHarry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince; and the clue on Saturday, Day 7, the last day of the challenge, will come from Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Have the corresponding book by your side, just in case. The answers to the clues are all numbers, so think about what numbers are pertinent to the story line in each book. You could flip through the books looking for numbers, as well. Sometimes the answers will be chapter numbers when a certain part of the plot happened. Don't be disheartened if you haven't gotten onto Pottermore yet. You have until Saturday. The clues are intended to get easier each day, however, that does allow fans to answer the questions faster and for spaces to be taken quicker. The Day 4 clue on Wednesday came from Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. It was: "How many students take part in the Triwizard Tournament during Harry's fourth year? Multiply this number by 28." On Day 2, the number the answer needed to be multiplied by was also a multiple of seven. The numerical answer should be typed at the end of http://quill.pottermore.com/ in order to be taken to a web page with the Magical Quill, which may be in a box that looks like an advertisement. Due to the high demand on Day 4, fans who got the clue right and were initially directed to a Sony product page were brought straight to registration, skipping the magic quill. When in doubt, keep refreshing the page and retyping the quill URL. On Wednesday, the Pottermore Insider official blog announced the time range the clue would be posted. The clue appeared at around 10:36 a.m. Eastern Standard Time and was up for about 30 minutes, though that depends on demand. Check in the morning on the blog to see if a time range is posted. While the time will not be posted on Twitter to avoid giving Twitter users an advantage, the #pottermore Twitter feed may have helpful advice from fellow fans. @MuggleNet, the Twitter account of an unofficial, yet popular, Harry Potter fan website, also posts tips.@pottermore, the official Pottermore Twitter name, occasionally posts tips and also notifies readers when registration closes.
